Casey is a Sophomore at USC pursuing a B.A. in Theatre Arts. Her involvement in Aeneid Theatre Company began is S10 with an Assistant Director, Fight Choreographer, and Assistant Stage Manager credit for the contemporary production of Danny and the Deep Blue Sea. Since, she has served on ATC’s board as a Producer and, currently, Production Manager. Though Casey began as a performer dancing and acting from a young age, over the past few years she has developed a passion and love for directing, producing, and designing as well. Since attending USC, she has choreographed, assistant directed, produced, and co-designed for several theater shows—ISPs and USC School of the Dramatic Arts productions. She is excited to grow her perspective on art, theatre, and life through exploring new departments, texts, and collaborations. The dedication to creating an impact on audiences and fostering creativity and mentorship within the production/creative/design teams is what drew Casey into ATC’s company. She is most proud of her season-structure plans to create a more productive, efficient, and supported set of productions each year that will allow the most learning for team members and highest quality for audiences.

Casey is enticed by any study of society, people, and patterns. She often uses theatre as an outlet for this intrigue but holds a deep interest in philosophy, linguistics, psychology, anthropology, and economics as well. She believes each of these studies—as do most—intertwine with and build off of each other in a way quite similar to theatre. At its core, every field is made up of people desperately trying to understand, replicate, and serve the human experience. The shared curiosity in the patterns of experiences, actions, and practices is a beautiful connecting force that makes theatre accessible to all, no matter background. This openness is what Casey strives to realize in her work—process and product.
