Peren is so thrilled that she is a part of ATC! She likes to say that her journey to theatre was “complicated”, but in actuality, she just realized one day that it was an art form she hadn’t yet tried. She then attended Bergen County Academies in New Jersey, where she trained in their theatre program for four years, before jetting off to sunny Los Angeles to continue her passion for theatre and acting. Most recently, Peren performed in two ATC productions: Top Girls, as the neglected Angie, and The Duchess of Malfi, as the misunderstood Bosola. She also is an online tutor for Korean students and adults, teaching them English writing and grammar, providing tactics for upcoming university interviews, and suggesting feedback on their essays. When she’s not in the theater or sitting in front of her laptop, Peren will brag about how many times she has seen “The Devil Wears Prada”, and yes, she will tell you which outfits are her favorites. Peren hopes for change and kindness in the world, and she is excited to help be a part of that change through the ISP community, making art for all to receive!
